Hi @destroyer7973,
Ok hmmm...Let's try something.
- Take a screenshot of the email address that's showing up for you on the EA website (don't share that screenshot, it's just for comparison).
- Next, log out of the ea website and try logging into your EA account on EA Help using your Xbox account. Here's how:
- Go to the EA Account login page.
- Choose to log in with your Xbox Live account where you play your EA games.
- Another pop-up will appear for the platform you choose. Log in using your sign-in details for that account.
- If the account you sign into is linked to an EA Account, you’ll now be logged in on EA Help where you can view your account information.
- Once logged in, go to your EA Account and Billing Settings.
- Click on the About Me tab and view the email address that's registered.
- Compare that email address to the one in the screenshot from the EA website.
Are the email addresses identical?

Sorry for not replying straight away,
I have found out that despite it saying that my xbox account is linked to the same email, when logging in through xbox, it takes me to a different ea account. Do you know whether it is possible to merge the 2 accounts so that i can keep my cross progression from xbox apex legends over to pc apex legends?

Hi @destroyer7973,
Where is it saying your Xbox is linked to the same email? Would you be looking at the email registered to your Xbox? The email on your Xbox account doesn't need to match the email on the EA account it's linked up to. The email on the EA account is the one that matters when linking up the accounts for cross-progression.
Cross-progression is supported in Apex. What Cross Progression allows you to do is access the progress/content saved on your EA account from any platform linked up to that same EA account. For example, as you're Xbox account is already linked to an EA account, you're sharing your game progress across PC and Xbox meaning you can load up the game from either platform now and continue where you left off, building on your progress.
It's not possible to merge or combine different EA account saves together as progress can't be merged or transferred between different EA accounts. Unlinking your console from that EA account and then linking it to the other EA account will not carry over the progress to the second EA account. This is because your progress is stored on the EA account itself, not on the individual platforms like Xbox.
There are some great comprehensive guides on our Apex > Cross-Progression board. I'll shared them below for more reading and will move your thread over to that board too:
