    Thanks! I appreciate the additional details.

    Did you also have a chance to try setting a different DNS on your PS4 as well? I've seen cases in the past where changing the DNS can help with similar issues. You can update the DNS on your PS4 using the steps below:

    1. Open the PS4 Settings and go to Network
    2. Select Set Up Internet Connection
    3. Choose Wi-Fi or LAN Cable depending on how your console is connected to the internet
    4. Select Custom
    5. Choose Automatic under IP Address Settings
    6. Choose Do Not Specify under DHCP Host Name
    7. Select Manual under DNS Settings
    8. Enter 8.8.8.8 as the Primary DNS and 8.8.4.4 as the Secondary DNS. This is the public Google DNS, but if there's a different DNS you would rather use instead that's OK as well.
    9. Select Next
    10. Choose Automatic under MTU Settings
    11. Select Do Not Use under Proxy Server
    12. Select Test Internet Connection to confirm the changes and make sure you can connect.

    Let me know if you're still running into that same error message afterward. Thanks!

    Thank you for giving that a try!

    I've also seen some cases where setting a Static IP on your PS4 can help. The Port Forward website has step-by-step instructions on how to set that. If you're able to give it a shot please let me know if it helps.

    Thanks again,

    /Kent

  • So far that has not helped either @EA_Kent I have no idea what else there is to try this is getting out of hand ive tried everything at this rate i wont get to participate in anything before wargames is over i am not sure what i need to do for yall to take a look at it instead of me trying a thousand things that are not working

    @Oni_Wolf454

    Thanks for giving that a shot as well.

    I can definitely understand the frustration with this. Getting disconnected is never fun. I'm suggesting these steps to see if we can fix this so you don't have to keep dealing with these errors.

    Do you have access to a PC on the same network as your PS4? If so, can you try running a test called a UOTrace? That will give us a more detailed look at the connection between your home network and the servers, so if there's anything happening in between we should be able to spot it.

    You can find more information on how to run the test over at the EA Help website. Look for the section on that article titled How to run a UOTrace. Once you have the results please send them to me in a direct message

    Thanks again,

    /Kent

  • im not sure how to send the test through direct message the only time i can attach a file is in a reply that i have seen but i do have the tests saved

    Hey @Oni_Wolf454

    You can just copy the text from the file and paste it in a direct message, if you don't mind.

    @Oni_Wolf454

    Thanks for sending those results!

    Looking at both trace routes I didn't see any measurable packet loss, and for the most part the ping looks OK. One thing did stand out though. I noticed the ping on the very first hop seems a bit high. This is the connection to your router/modem, so the ping on that first hop would ideally be pretty close to zero. High ping on the first hop could point toward a local network issue of some kind.

    How is your PC currently connected to the internet? Is it using a LAN cable, or is it connected over wifi?

    @Oni_Wolf454

    Would it be possible to try connecting it with a network cable instead? That way we can remove the wifi connection as a factor that might be causing these issues. If you have the option to connect with a network cable please give it a shot and try running a new UOTrace. Once you have the updated results please send them to me again in a direct message.

    Thank you!

    /Kent

  • its not possible to connect via lan. cable the router and modem are in another room but my connection shouldnt be a problem as far as gaming onliegoes i can play any other game perfectly fine

    @Oni_Wolf454

    No worries, I understand if it's not possible.

    If you're not able to connect with a LAN cable it might be best to reach out to your internet provider to see if they have any advice on how to reduce the ping on that first hop. They might have some suggestions on what you can do with your hardware that could make a difference.
