Hey @MrDrFeesh.
I've seen some cases where this error is happening because of another program that's interfering with Easy Anticheat. When you have a chance can you try setting up a Clean Boot on your PC to see if that makes any difference? If this is happening because of a different program it may help get around the issue.
You can find more details on how to set up a Clean Boot over at the EA Help website. Let me know how it goes when you have the chance to give it a shot.
Thanks!

- @EA_Kent Thanks Kent I will try this.
- @EA_Kent Sorry to say but I tried this and it did not work. I getting pretty anxious about what it is.
@MrDrFeeshJust wondering is it as simple as you downloaded the wrong version for your pc? Maybe you downloaded a 64 bit version but you need the 32 bit version
maybe Origin is making a mistake and giving users an incompatible bit version for their pc, if you right click my pc and hit properties it should tell you if you have a 64 or 32 bit pc and if its a 32 that could be the problem and explains why its telling you to use the 32 bit version
- @FaIIenAngeI777 Your probably right. I will try that out today. Thanks in advance!
I did think this could be it but I check and I have a 64 bit pc. Sorry. But I did find this Reddit post of someone with the same problem. Reddit Post Here

Thanks for giving it a shot. This is something that's been happening from time to time since Apex Legends launched. We've seen a handful of workarounds that can help in a lot of cases.
What happens if you launch Apex Legends as an Administrator? Look for r5apex.exe in your Origin Games folder, (it most likely will be located in Program Files (x86)) try right clicking it, and see if you've got the Run as Administrator option. Give that a shot and see if that helps at all.

Sorry kent, but this still did not work. But someone else did say this worked for them.

Thanks for giving it a shot.
Would it be possible to try adding exceptions for Easy AntiCheat, Apex Legends, and Origin in your security software? It's possible that the security software on your PC is blocking something from connecting.
Let me know if that makes a difference for you.
/Kent
At this point, I'm pretty confused. Even after I did all of that, including make a security exception, it's still not working? Hope we can find a fix. š
- @EA_Kent I saw this video released 3 days ago? Is it any good? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=19j6vo4Q32A I the same problem im having
Maybe you can just ditch the Origin, that would be a move of century....
- @III_Rx_Queen_III Iām sorry I do not understand?
Not to rush anyone, but I will be working extra hard to fix apex by the time the new event comes out. Thanks for all the help!

Were you able to try repairing EAC to see if that helped for you at all?
/Kent
- @EA_Kent Yes I have tried that, I thought that would work but it did not. Iām am going to probably get a live chat to get help. I will say if that works.
Ok, good news. I fixed the Easy anti-cheat please use a 32-bit version error! But now whenever I play apex it will send me back to origins. Sorry for switching up the problems.

I'm glad to hear you were able to figure out what was happening with EAC! What exactly are you seeing when you try to start up Apex Legends? Is the game crashing to the desktop? Do you get any error messages at all?
/Kent
Let me explain, unlike the EAC error these one other people have gotten. Its where it will click play, EAC will run the turn off normally, then suddenly apex won't open and take me back to origins. And there is no error message at all. I hope I can fix this soon cause the new event is out. š
Mhh, sounds like the EAC is still doing something weird.
@MrDrFeesh Can you try these steps?Open your File explorer and locate to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Apex
And delete the following files:- EasyAntiCheat
- EasyAntiCheat_launcher.exe
- EasyAntiCheat_x64.dll
Then locate to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Apex\__Installer\customcomponent
And delete the following files:
- EasyAntiCheat
Then restart Origin, go to Game Library, click on Apex Legends.
Then go to settings -> Game Properties and repair the game.
Now you will have a fresh install of EAC, if there were any corrupted files, they are gone now.If that didn't do the trick, make sure you have installed the latest Visual C++ version installed.

Let me know if that changed anything.Ok, I tried deleting everything but still did not work. And I installed the new Visual Studio stuff. But I will try reinstalling origins tomorrow.
Hey @MrDrFeesh
I have a feeling you should see some errors in your windows event log when you try to start Apex Legends. Can you maybe check if some critical errors pop up over there when you try to start the game?
Maybe a new Dxdiag will give us some more information. š- @Zeelmaekers will do! Thanks
Here is the dxdiag file
OK, HUGE NEWS. I ran apex through the EAC launcher and it just works? Please explain this. But I'm glad it works! š
