This is one of the most illogical answers here. Tip: installing another game (for example Sims 4) on exactly the same account and computer does not cause such problems, so even 5 cables connected to the router does not solve the problem. Are you AI or what !?
For me following worked:
i installed the game through steam, copied the game folder to a different location and renamed the folder to "Apex". then i picked this folder as installation path for Apex in EA App and started the installation. I have not deleted anything. and it worked.
