I have already done that twice, and I have recently discovered that apparently my Xbox account is somehow ineligible and has been removed as a link to my account.
I am not sure what I did or what happened to make this occur, If you have a workaround to fix that, I would like to know as soon as possible.
Community ManagerWhen are you getting the ineligible message? If that's happening when trying to link your Xbox gamertag, that means it's already linked to another account. You need to reset the password for the EA account your gamertag is linked to. We wouldn't have unlinked it without your permission as that is incredibly damaging to your account so it's not something we easily do.
I get the message when I try to link the Xbox account/ gamertag to my account (the one that doent have the link to it but should have it) and it tells me that its ineligible.
I dont know why it is happening, it could be a bug or a mishap of some sort but I have no clue as to why when I log into my main EA account through origin mind you the link doesn't exist for my Xbox.
I frankly am lost with what is happening with my xbox link I have no idea on what to do.
Community ManagerYou're getting that ineligible message because you're trying to link a gamertag that is already linked to another EA account. What you need to do is log in to the EA account that gamertag is on and reset the password for it.
I have checked any and all accounts that are in my name and I havent seen any link to a Xbox account of any sort.
I have also tried linking said xbox account to any of them to see if they work and none really do, so I'm at a loss of what to do next.
