Re: Issues after Cross Progression is activated on your account? Check here first!

Hey @kliest0,

It does look like your console account was previously linked to a different EA account. The PSN account was linked to this EA account some time after our Cross Progression announcement last year, and additionally this EA account has never launched Apex on PlayStation until extremely recently.

Progress is stored on the EA account level, not on individual platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, etc. This means if you link your platform to a different EA account, you'll lose access to that progress. If you had progress on your PSN account previously, that would still be on the original EA account and you'd need to re-link it there to try recovering access to that progress.

We have some additional information about this particular situation in our blog and guides below, but if you have any issues re-linking your accounts please reach back out to support so they can help get your platform account back to its original EA account.

@iwkphate

That sounds like you may both have had your Xbox accounts linked to the same EA account. It doesn't matter which emails you had used for your Xbox accounts, just which EA account they had been linked to at the time.

There's more information about that situation below, but one of you would need to have your Xbox account unlinked and moved to a separate EA account. That person would lose access to the content on the current account, as unfortunately there's no way to divide or transfer that content to a different EA account.

@Wilclada

Sorry, we can't grant badges or individual items like this. For missing badges please see the below spoiler tag!

Spoiler

Some badges from Apex Legends’ earlier seasons previously earned on a non-primary account (an account that wasn’t the highest level at the time of Cross Progression) may not have been merged into the new Cross Progression enabled account which will be used going forward.

If these badges can be earned again through future gameplay, that is the only way to reacquire these badges.

For badges that cannot be obtained again due to their nature - e.g. a badge awarded for completing a former season’s Battle Pass or achieving a particular rank in an old season - Respawn continues to investigate returning these badges to affected users in the future.

We will communicate further about this investigation and its outcome at a later date.

@Xp_Ghostly

Which specific items are you missing from the PlayStation account, and what is your PSN username? I'm seeing the one currently connected here had very few items in general, but they were all combined successfully.

Do you have multiple PSN accounts? Have you ever unlinked the account in the past, even prior to Cross Progression?
