Re: Login verification activated, but still not able to receive gifts

Hello pythia, my friend is indeed able to gift, as he is able to gift to his friends, however i am the only one that did not pop up on his list, so i was wondering what the problem is now.

hey @EA_Pythia, we have been friends on playstation for years, and on the game as well, he just showed me that he is able to gift to his friend but i’m still not on his list, i really don’t get what the problem is now

if you've been friends on the PlayStation before you were friends on Apex, I recommend unfriending each other on both PlayStation and Apex, and then befriend each other in Apex FIRST, before re-befriending each other on the PlayStation.

It will take another two weeks, before you two can gift each other things, but it should work then.

then it is very likely that you have several accounts and are verifying the incorrect one. Please check here if your platform account, if you have one, is connected to your EA account that you're verifying. Otherwise, you can also contact EA Support, who can potentially help you locate your account.

Hi @EA_Pythia I have the login application enabled and no other account connected however I still can’t unlock the send gift 

i've been unable to gift the battlepass to my friend and we both have 2FA but it still says we need to enable it

I am having the same Issue. I have all the requirements in order to gift/ be gifted & I am still unable to. My EA account & Email are only for my PC Steam Apex legends account & no other account. I’ve been friends with my buddy for 3 + weeks & he can’t see me in his gifting friends list. YES I have verification turned on with a Email & Phone # linked. Please help me and many of us! Please help me

Hay I can gift and everything but when I gift it it doesn’t let me gift it it just stays loading and doesn’t let me press the gift 

I’m having trouble activating gifting on switch when I only have one Ea account and it says it’s activated but it still says I need the verification in game 

I have the same problem where it says that I turned on the verification code on my laptop and phone but it still has the lock on the button in-game. (and yes I did try restarting my game and PC multiple times)

I have Login Verification Enabled and my steam account is able to gift, but not the account linked to PSN.
They're both under the same EA account.
How to fix this?

Hi @EA_Pythia I'm having the issue aswell I've got the verification linked with auth app but it won't work 

I'm experiencing the same issue with gifting. I just tried to send out 2 out of 5 anniversary gifts, but unfortunately, none of them went through successfully. I attempted to find a support page to chat with someone about this issue, but I couldn't locate it. The frustrating part is that my friend still hasn't received the gift, and now I'm left with only 3 out of 5 gifts.

Hello, My child plays apex on her Nintendo switch. she would like to gift. we have read everything and have done everything. I have logged in to login verification and it in enabled. but her game still shows locked for this gifting. we have logged in a few times to make sure. I turned it off and on again. then we turned off her game to reset and that did not work. please help. we can not get passed the login verification .

Any updates? I am also struggling to gift as my login verification is turned on but I am still unable to send gifts. Accounts are linked and up to requirement as well. Super confused. 

Hi there, I have gotten the same issue for about a week, tried login million times. Login verification was activated, but in game it still shows a need to open the login verification. Apex is offering the free gift to friend, and will get a skin for free after finish all the task. If this issue is not solved, are you gonna compensate for the reward?
