Re: Need to reset game/leave lobby after each match

Nope, I am the only player who experiences the issue. I did experience it solo but, honestly, I haven't played solo in ages. Mine worked fine for S4 and the start of S5. It was just a regular update when the issue started occurring on my end.

I'll be honest, I couldn't figure out how to change bridge mode settings. I talked to a more tech savvy friend and he said bridge mode really shouldn't matter since I am the only one using my internet. I don't have any issues with any other games or my internet in general. If I can find an easy fix, it would be great but I am not really too invested at this point. I'm fine with leaving and re-joining lobbies since I've pretty much stopped playing the game anyway. My friends rarely invite me since I am the only player with issues.

And no worries for the wall of text. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It seems like @EA_Kent has abandoned this thread anyway..

Can you provide me with your router name and modell and If you'd like i can see if i can find what ports needs to be opened. If you can't set it in brigde mode then its probably not the issue.

Happens to me as well on the PS4, ever since season 4 started. None of the mentioned fixes help. It has to be something on their end.

I'm late to this thread but this issue has been affecting me for like 2 months now (getting more annoying day by day) nothing seems to help.

I tried on my parents internet and it worked. Could be linked to the ISP, but why now? It started happening at the beginning of season 4.

@V01dPlaysIt might be the router settings, if you are using the router provided by your ISP there might be some ports that needs to be opened.

My theory is that they implimented a new function that required a port to be open. My guess is that some routers does not have that open by default.

Here is the ports needs to be open, you could give it a go: https://help.ea.com/en-au/help/faq/opening-tcp-or-udp-ports-for-connection-issues/?product=apex-legends&ajax=1

You could YouTube it also i think!

@Sweeetssthanks for you'r guidance so far. question though, the ports that the ea sites list to open are

    • TCP: 80, 443, 3478, 3479, 3480
      UDP: 3478, 3479

I am noticing a video i found on youtube (its older like from early 2019) list a lot of other ports. do you know if these listed are all of them that i would need to open now? did you yourself port forward and potentially use the ones i listed or maybe even more? i am getting very tired of having to back out of my lobby after every match and needing a invite to join my friends lobby (and sometimes that doesnt even work) i just want my dang game to work.

@Sweeetss I have already tried port forwarding, Google DNS, resetting router to factory (it’s not from the provider) and reinstalling the game. What’s interesting is if you sit in a lobby for a while it “disconnects” you.

@TimEffinMullins I did not have to port forward anything myself since our main router already had the ports open. But our mesh system was set in router mode and before we got it everything worked perfectly, so after a while i suspected the mesh and was going to open the ports and found out i could set it in bridge.

Im sorry, i dont know what exact ports needs to be opened but i would suggest the ones in EA's guide first, then youtube it if it doesnt work.

I know the frustration, trust me!

@V01dPlaysWhat are your internet setup? Is your router the main one?

And also, if it worked at your parentes house, do they have the same isp/router?

@V01dPlays Have you checked recent links for ports to open? From what you are saying it definitely sounds like a WiFi problem, seeing that it works at your parents.
You have not made any changes to the setup before the issue started?
