Re: plea for Understanding and Fairness
"Has there ever been a case where a ban was lifted in similar situations?"
- All cases relating to a ban can only by handled by the EA TOS Team. As such, no one else outside of the EA TOS Team would be able to handle a ban appeal case.
"Can you tell me how I can convince technical support or the team responsible for the ban to at least reduce the penalty?"
- The EA Technical Support Team is unable to assist with any ban-related case as ban-related cases are handled by the EA TOS Team. As for helping to convince the EA TOS Team, I sadly cannot help with that.
All you can do is to provide as much evidence as possible to support your case, but do understand that if the EA TOS Team says the ban won't be overturned, it sadly won't be. This is also something I sadly cannot help with.
"Is there a template that can help clarify my seriousness, remorse, and commitment to never repeat this behavior while adhering to all rules?"
- There's no template for this sort of thing, (and personally, I wouldn't use a template).
Having a template could lessen your chances as the EA TOS Team may see it as a copy and paste. In your case, the best you could do is to use your own words, and to remain patient and respectful towards the EA TOS Team.
"Honestly, for the first time in my life, I feel completely helpless when it comes to a ban and reaching out for a solution to the problem."
- Being banned can be very nerve-wracking, (especially when the ban was for something small or minor), so I can understand feeling helpless.
In cases of saying "something bad", I feel like being muted by the game would be a lot better, (and fitting punishment), than to fully ban the player from being able to play the game.
Note: The Community Managers are also unable to assist with this type of issue, as they are not part of the EA TOS Team.
