I did that last night to my computer and my brothers and we haven't had a crash in in over 20 hours of playing... Maybe this will help someone ill keep you posted on anything else.
Increasing voltage does help with the games bad optimization, but 1.5v is too high, try setting it lower. Don't know what CPU's you and your brother have. but as already said 1.4v is considered to be max safe voltage in most cases so don't go over that voltage or you might degrade your CPU.
