This is happening to me as well. Insanely frustrating. Party chat works fine, but the game seems to think I have no mic for game chat. Makes it real hard to play ranked without a full group. I tried clearing MAC address as well.

03/03/2022 And this is STILL an issue... Where in the world is EA at? Xbox Series S, nothing is working. I've tried everything in this thread. Ridiculous I can't even play ranked effectively. I can see my teammates mics going off, but hear nothing and I can't even get the mic icon to show. Turtle Beach recon 70. I have no issues in any other game or in party chat. Only in Apex Legends game chat. RIDICULOUS

Same here. I’ve been looking through every forum for the past couple weeks and no fix has solved the problem for me. My game chat has been messed up for a while now, but I used to play with only Xbox players so the problem didn’t matter. Now that I run more with crossplay it’s bad. I can hear everyone fine, but when people hear me it’s choppy or distorted. Every other game is fine. Respawn and EA need to address this. It’s pretty ridiculous a game like this doesn’t have a party chat like Fortnite by this point.
