I completely understand, I'm in the same boat as you where time can be limited with family obligations and with fewer friends playing online than what it was like back in the days.....ahhhh the glory days of non-stop grinds and Mountain Dews! 🙂

I honestly just started using the LFG feature in Xbox recently and it's incredible how responsive players are to invites. The moment you let them know you're interested they usually send you a party invite within 30 seconds. It's a great way to test and confirm it's not coming from your end. 

We'll make sure the team is aware we're still seeing these reports, but we haven't seen a significant amount of volume around this so it can be harder to reproduce because of limited data/reports. So from our end, we'll want to jump into the tech troubleshooting to rule out it's not hardware or user configuration related. 

We don't want ever come off in a way of brushing it off to the user and I can see how asking questions around this can be seen like that, especially after a frustrating round of games, but we have to dive into some detail so we have information to pass along to the development team if they are attempting to locate what the root cause is. The team is investigating audio issues, I'll try to track down some info to see if this is related to that.

Providing specific details as to what Xbox system you have, headset, audio settings selected under Xbox settings, any adapters used, if a power cycle was performed, and whether party chat works is helpful info for the team. 

I will do what I can to get some people together to test for you. 

Perhaps EA community needs to find a way to engage users in a playing together session to see it first hand?

I give you all informations i have:

Xbox one x

nat open

ipv4 and ipv6 (both nativ, no dslite)

400mbit down, 40mbit up

steelseries arctis 3 headset

xbox standard controller

xbox elite controller

tested wireless and with cable

privatysettimg at xbox checked, everything ok

accounts from me and my son tested (both on one xbox)

my account has 0 reports in xbox in the last 6 month

son account has 1 report in xbox (unsportsman) in the last six month

-> so non of the accounts are restricted of using voice chat (both reputation is perfect (green))

Voicechat works sometimes, maybe in 1 of 10 apexlegends-games...

most of the time, the symbol says that the player is talking the whole time. But i can not hear them. They can hear me, because they react to what i say...

for a teamgame, this is very frustrating, because having a voicechat in a teamshooter is a must have.

and i don’t believe that they all have there mics muted or they all in any xbox partys... 

i can not test it with any friends, i dont know other apex legends player. I will test it maybe with some of the members here, but at the moment i am in vacation for 2 weeks...:-)

this really is stupid that we are now in season 2 of apex and i can still only hear people 1 or 2 times out of 10 games why has this not been sorted yet?this issue as far as i can see hasn't even been looked at nothing has changed at all it is the same today as it was on the first day when is this even going to get looked at?there is new content out that works but the basic game ie chat function which is an integral part of this game is still in proper * state can someone give us a timeframe as to when this issue will even be looked at and please dont keep coming up with all the silly suggestions about what it could be on our end because it is nothing to do with that as you well know it is fully down to your end the issue needs rectifying from your end not ours.so please can we have a time frame as to when this will be sorted ???

Ingame voicechat is not disabled, it is enabled.

and voicechat works in 1 of 10 games- but most time not.

i have no problems in other games, only in apex legends

are you being serious ?you are still asking them silly questions when you know they are nothing to do with the problem.if you look at this chat from start to finish you will see that it doesn't matter what port is open or closed what mic is on or off it makes no god dam difference as well you know the chat function is broken from your end not ours so please stop asking us to check and recheck our settings it as you know is a waste of our time so please refrain from asking us to do that and just give us the truth instead of all this balls that you keep spouting you are not helping at all.so now i hope you understand that all your chatting is just that chat you might as well be talking about elephants it would give us the same amount of help as you have given in the whole of this chat ????????????????????????
