Surely someone has offer some sort of assistance.

Because it took 4 years to enable cross progression, I had two different EA accounts. One for Xbox and one for Steam. I took a break from the game before this came out and I want to return now and make use of it.

However because my steam and Xbox accounts are on different EA accounts there is still no way to link them without losing all the items, money, time etc I have spent on at least one of the accounts. I have talked to customer service who were to say the least unhelpful at at times genuinely just rude to me about it.

Is there nobody that can assist with this or at least help me get some sort of credit reimbursement to repurchase the items on one account when I lose them by unlinking the other? There has to be SOME kind of solution in this scenario that doesn't involve me just losing ALL my progress and cosmetics on one account :(

    apexgymbro Sadly, there isn't one:

    • Your Apex progress and data is stored on the connected EA Account.
    • Since your Apex progress and data is stored on the connected EA Account, it cannot be transferred to, (or merged with), another EA Account.
    • By unlinking a platform account from one of your EA Accounts, you risk a loss of some, (or all), of your Apex progress and data that is stored on the EA Account that the platform was unlinked from.
    • Linking an unlinked platform account to another EA Account also won't transfer, (or merge), your Apex progress and data.

In short, you sadly would have to give up one of your Apex Accounts by unlinking the platform account from it's EA Account to then link it to the EA Account that has the Apex progress and data that you wish to keep the most.

If you do decide to unlink a platform account, be sure its for the EA Account you care for the least as reversing any loss in your Apex progress and data may not be possible, (even when relinking that platform account back to the EA Account).

Note: If the EA Account you wish to keep has already been linked to a platform account of the same type before, it won't be possible to link a different platform account of the same type as there is a lifetime link to the first platform account, (which means that each EA account can only be linked to one Steam Account, one Xbox Account, etc. in its lifetime).
