Terrible server issues in season 24

I'm an australian player playing on Singapore servers, I play on 80 ping which is totally fine, I have no issues with it, well that was the case until this season, season 24. 

For some reason without any chnages to my internet speed, and with no interruptions in other games at all, the servers are now on 130-150 ping instead of 80 ping, it is undoubtably unplayable, theres not too much of a community anymore in OCE so I dont see people complaining about it because no one from OCE really takes apex seriously anymore, but I still enjoy playing this game an hour or two a day.

I did see from a youtuber i follow who covers apex saying that the hosting server respawn used for so many years is gone, is that the reason why its so terrible now? I just need answers so if theres anything i can do about it I will try it out, lookinf forward to hearing from anyone. thank you.
