What does it take to get a response?

This mostly happens because people don't secure their accounts with 2FA which stops people accessing your account without authorisation. There are many ways they can get hold of your account information through fake websites and logins etc, it's the same for any account not just EA; It's just that EA has a lot of services and games tied to peoples accounts so they are targeted more.
It should never take months for any response, maybe there has been an issue somewhere I'm not sure. I think the best thing to do is start a fresh case with the ToS team and they should this time get back to you via email, through your case file or both.

Select Origin>Choose Platform>Manage Account >Banned or Suspended account and then select an available contact option
