[WORKAROUND] Apex won't get past "continue" screen on PC/XB/PS (intro loop)

I just installed the game on Steam, tried to play it, linked my account with my origin account, but then any time I try to play from steam it gets to the "continue" screen with the server selector et...

    CURRENT WORKAROUND
    This workaround works for PC and console.

    Step 1: Disconnect from the internet when you are in the loading screen ends (around 4 seconds)

    Step 2: If successful, it will into the lobby screen. Then connect again to the Internet and spam to collect all rewards Do this fast it's important!
    Step 3:     If this didn't work, try again it could take a couple of tries. If you try this on steam and it doesn't work, try this with the Origin client.

    Last resort:
    Creating an alt account to play on.

    Of course, this is not a fix, but I marked this as a solution to get the workaround to people who are stuck.

Here's what to do:

  1. Download Netlimiter 4 (Google it, I don't want to link it here).
  2. Install the program and open it to see a list of programs running (it has a free trial to use in full for 28 days).
  3. Launch Apex Legends and then tab out and back to the Netlimiter program.
  4. Find Apex Legends on the list of items in Netlimiter. When you select it, you will see a series of arrows on the right side. Select the 'down' arrow for download speed settings and 'up' arrow for upload speeds.
  5. Set both your download and upload limit to 100KB/sec.
  6. Tab back into the Apex Legends game and connect normally. It will take a while sitting on the connect to lobby screen but will eventually place you into your lobby (on average, the wait will be 30-60secs). **NOTE: If the system still returns you to the loading screening, then lower the download and upload speed slightly (~10KB/sec) and try again.
  7. Clear all of the reward notifications that show up on the splash screen. Do this relatively quickly, as you will likely get an "anti-cheat program cannot initiate" error that boots you before too long. (Don't worry, it's only a temporary error auto disconnecting you because it cannot get Easy Anti-Cheat to load using your throttled connection speed.)
  8. Remove all of the limit settings on Apex Legends in Netlimiter and close the program.
  9. You should now be able to log in normally.

Updates & Notes:

  1. The 150KB/sec limit was what worked for me. If you still experience the loop, lower this number until it either works or it begins to timeout your connection. Everyone has a different internet threshold, so test what number works best for you.
  2. You do not need to close Apex and reopen it each time you try a new set of numbers. You simply tab out, change the number in Netlimiter, and go back into Apex to try to reconnect.

It took bit of time for me but i finally got it to work. (3rd try)

FOR PC PLAYERS ONLY (with CODE:NET as well)

Your steps are correct, only a small note that i use 50mbps internet speed and you have to really toggle with the no.s in the net limiter.

I tried 50kbps 1st ...didnt WORK

I then tried 35kbps worked but error of code:net appeared

so i tried at 45kbps and it worked perfectly....

Please keep in mind that if the limiter is TOO LOW , you will get an error of connection or boot to title screen.

Also, spam the ESC to close the rewards as fast as you can ...otherwise error and boot to title screen..

guys it worked but when i start match it doesnt start and i get code net !! so any help here

    once you clear the rewards stuff, you remove the limits and close the program. You don't use the program to play the game.

    The net limiter fix does not work for me I tried from 150 and moved down to 25 by 5kb increments. It doesnt seem to work for the code net issue. If you have this code net issue there currently NO SOLUTIIONS

    @FSKNDoPe_TwitchThat's correct, it doesn't. It only works to help connect to clear the rewards spam glitch for people. The code net issue is different. Though, if you wanted to, you could try the net limiter and set it really high for Apex, to see if the reserved bandwidth helps with the connection. But, that's a long shot I doubt will work.

    next to that I encourage you all to go and upvote this post so we might have an answer even if they don’t fix it instantly.

    (I have the code net issue just like you all guys)

    and I hope that with this they will hear us out! It’s being nearly 3 weeks for me, definitely too long.
