would my ea apex account get banned if i link it to my banned steam account?

so on steam i got banned for no reason and they would not tell me why. i tried 3 times to get it unbanned but they wouldnt unban me. so i switched to EA and got a large variety in collection items a...

    Hey @TVOfficialPurple,

    An Apex ban would be applied to the EA account where that content and/or progress was originally earned. 

    If that's happened to a different account than the one you're posting from, you'd need to try clearing up the ban via appeal in order for our Terms of Service team to review that action. 

    You wouldn't be able to link a different account to get around a ban in this case and would need to go through the above appeal process instead to have this reviewed further.

    but i didnt get an apex ban, otherwise i couldnt play on the EA account which im playing on for the last months. ive heard that u could sign out of apex from ur steam account and link it with a different account.

      Hey @TVOfficialPurple,

      You mentioned an Apex ban in your first post, and that seems to be the case for the account you're posting from as well.

      You would not be able to link or unlink an account that has been banned, nor can you swap out one banned account for a different account on the same platform. 

      You would need to create an appeal to have that reviewed further, however. If you're running into any issues either on this account or a separate one, feel free to appeal using the link in my prior post if you feel that was applied incorrectly whether to this account or another.

        Just saw this post. I encountered the same issue of getting banned for no reason. I checked the history for the reason why i was banned, but it is clear. Since it is clear of any ban in the history, can I unlink my steam account to create a new Apex account?
