Wrong PSN account linked to EA account and lost access to the e-mail

I linked my PSN account to the wrong EA account(refer to this account as 'account a' for clarity) and the e-mail linked to the 'account a', I no longer have access to as it has been deleted. I have already tried contacting EA support about this but they want me to give them information on my purchases and credit card to prove I own that EA account. Mind you I made 'account a' 4 years ago, I don't recall making any purchases through EA nor putting a credit card on the account. To access the information through EA itself, I need to go to 'payment history' but then I need a verification, but again I can't get the security code as I don't have the access to the e-mail linked to 'account a'. They now tell me should I get that information, I should message them back however, how am I even suppose to get the information when it is locked behind the e-mail? Any suggestions on my next plan of action?

If you no longer have access to the email address registered to the EA account, unfortunately you won't be able to make any changes or unlink any accounts without assistance from support.

They'll need to be able to verify ownership of the account before any changes can be made. Without access to the email that will be in the form of the other questions you've referred to here. I'm afraid there is not an alternative method to gain access to the account if the team can't verify enough of the information provided matches what was originally registered on the account.

You're welcome to reach back out to support to try the recovery process multiple times as needed, but this isn't something that can otherwise be bypassed, sorry.

  • So even if I were to create a ticket through that EA account and show I own it, it won't matter? I have already attempted to make a case on that EA account but the communication is through e-mail so I am not able to access it. I understand it is policy to answer these questions however, I can't answer them because I don't remember the credit card info or purchases I made but I can show ownership by making a ticket, or any other way like a call to show I can log in through it. Thanks.
