Flying in battlefield 6, especially on the big open maps is horrible. As soon as u go up 10ft u get locked either by AA sitting at the very back of the map locking u cross map, or by some target designator. Sometimes no Heli is leaving spawn. Please fix that, half the range of AA missiles and for Christ sake fix those target designators marking every vehicle on the map.
I think for the designators, it should mark everything but for lock-on the player with the designators should have to keep it on the target for the rockets to hit etc, As for the spawn camping tanks etc its crap and been a think in almost all bf games happens alot with bad tank/AA drivers, objectives cant be taken sometimes cause ya need a tank to support the push lol

Previous games did it like this and it people didn't use the designator because of it. If you need to keep holding the lock, you need to be vulnerable for an extended period of time. This is pretty much asking to be shot, as the red laser alerts anyone that's even barely looking at you. In addition to that, when the vehicle ducks behind cover, the lock is broken and the engineer doesn't get the time to lock onto the vehicle.
Stinger / Javelin rockets on engineer, normal anti-air rockets on helis , AA dont need the full lock-on paint designation in real world but the Guided missiles do, if the change was made just for that so Tanks , IFV's with guided missiles need a full long designation to the target it would prob solve tank campers using it to 100% hit jets/helis,
