How will the recoil system in Battlefield 6 be modified?

Will adjustments to recoil make it more manageable?

The recoil in Battlefield 6 is extremely frustrating when I use traditional burst-fire techniques; I can’t even predict where the second shot will drift.

How will the recoil system in Battlefield 6 be revised to improve its controllability? Will the devs revert to the classic recoil mechanics seen in BF4 and BF1, or will they iterate upon the current recoil system? I’d like to know the potential improvement directions.

  • Sadly the modern form of recoil is needed to counter the turbo sweats.  Rainbow six has near perfectly repeatable recoil, and you can see the difference between a pro-player and casual like it was night and day.  In a game with 64 players for team, where the matchmaking will throw in turbosweats with the worst players in the game, there needs to be some way to keep the turbosweats from just lasering people across the map with any gun.

Of course, I think recoil should be the main method used, and not this "bloom" crap where bullets come out of the barrel at random angles.  If I miss because I can't handle recoil, ok, whatever.  But I miss because my bullets magically change directly when they escape my barrel and go off in completely random directions.  It makes the gameplay feel like I have zero control and it's all about choosing the OP guns over just getting better.
