My question, are the bots beginner, intermediate or advanced in their “skill” level?
They are what Battlefield Studios makes them. We don't have control over their "skill". The bot behavior keeps changing over time, but we don't have direct control over it. We can make the bots blind and unblind them based on distance or something, but everything we do programmatically by script causes the server to run worse and worse, so it becomes counter-productive to even try. The script system they have provided us performs much worse than what the server can do natively.
BF Studios knows we want the ability to tweak the bots natively, but they don't seem to care.
Sadly, the cutscene in my beach invasion experience is also now broken by changed bot behavior. Now, the jet just falls to the ground instead of flying through the cutscene. You can only do so much, and give up control of the rest. I don't know why the publisher breaks something new every update. It's crazy. Maybe in 3 weeks we will even have the correct map boundaries and capture points back, but at the cost of what next?
The Beach Invasion flying cutscenes are still ruined by the bot behavior, but at least now the bots can drive boats. I updated the experience so that the bots will drive the boats around, and I also added mines in the water to blow up boaters who are too hasty and careless.

Ty_Ger07 Crazy how bad these people at EA are about solo play against bots. Only you and a few others even try to make games playing solo against bots. And you are not supported by the devs at EA either. What’s the most crazy is they have the formula to fix solo play against bots. They had the same problem with solo/ co-op play in BF2042 and fixed it after release.
I have played every Battlefield game through the many years and this is the one that has been the worst for me. I always know after release there will be problems, this is always been the case. But within 6 months it is 99% perfect with patches. For some reason not so with BF6. Can’t figure it out.
I get the sense that they are AI coding induced problems. I get the feeling that they are using AI to make a change, and that is what is causing an unrelated thing to also be changed (because AI is known for that sort of behavior). Either that, or they had a big churn of employees and the people maintaining the code now are not the people who wrote it originally, and they are making errors in reasoning.
I think the real obvious problem is lack of testing. There are so many examples of things which were obviously never tested before pushing out an update. I don't know that the rush is.I have had loads of fun playing thank you, however, and as you alluded to, the Bots are just ridiculous.
I get that we should not be farming, and that is NOT what I am looking for, but good grief, they seem to be there and aiming right at you as soon as you come round the corner.
And their tankers and boat drivers do not seem to miss at all either.
And how come if you are in a heli you get one shot killed by just one bot when you have 100% health, and yet if you try doing this in a multiplayer game it takes three or more RPGs to take down a heli ?
I have no idea who is running this game now, but I am convinced they are stupid.
