Please add ConsoleOnly Crossplay (PS5+Xbox) PC players ruin the balance and fun

‼️LEAVE LIKES FOR REACH‼️

Hi EA / DICE team,

I’d like to raise an issue that many console players are facing right now in Battlefield 6. The current cross-play system forces console users (PS5 + Xbox) into lobbies with PC players, and it’s honestly ruining the experience for many of us.

Here’s why:

Mouse and keyboard players have a big advantage in aim and reaction speed.

There are still too many cheaters on PC, which makes fair play impossible.

When we disable cross-play, we can only match within one platform (Xbox-only or PS-only)

What we’re (Discord community) asking for:

Please add an option for “Console-only crossplay” — where PS5 and Xbox players can play together without any PC players in the pool.

This would keep matchmaking healthy while ensuring a fair and enjoyable experience for everyone using controllers.

This feature has been requested by a huge part of the community, and it would really improve the balance and fun of the game.

Thank you for listening — we love Battlefield, and we just want fair and competitive matches for all console players..

Best regards.

You guys obsess over this aim assist like it’s a cheat, it’s not. Moving on from that, they could be talking about all the people that emulate controllers but still use m/k so get the aim assist but also the benefit of m/k.

Majority of the problem would be fixed anyways if they just matchmake based on your peripheral. Then m/k complaining about aim assist and console players complaining about m/k both win.

Then they just need to figure out how they detect PC users using emulators to exploit (cheat) the system.

False, m/k average Joe has a huge advantage over same skill level controller user. If you want to talk high lever level sweats go nuts, most of us aren’t those players. Changing weapons, gadgets, running, diving, aiming and firing all much faster, easier, smoother transition using m/k. Scanning a site you’re capping, turning around, looking up and down, getting a bead on a distant headshot, all much easier on m/k.

Hence why aim assist even came about to even try to level the field, but it’s not. I can also change my mouse sensitivity on the fly, not so for console.

You’re going to need more than “aim assist too strong”.  If you’re a new or bad m/k player, yeah you’re gonna have a hard time against average controller players.

Hence why matchmaking should just match you up by how you play, not what you play on.

I’m not going to play baseball with a hockey stick, you dig?

They don't need to figure that out, they know exactly what device you're on, and i agree controller on pc should be disabled. PC and console shouldn't cross play in the first place, this simply doesn't make any sense.

  • Every crossplay game with aim assist has shown accuracy comparisons between mouse and controller has always shown controller has an advantage. Halo COD and Apex have all had stats showing on average the top mouse players are only slightly above the average middle controller player. Look it up if you don't believe me.

What I don't get is why do controller players get aim assist WITH less recoil in this game when the slowdown from aim assist already gives less recoil.

Crossplay itself isn’t the problem — the real issue is the controller and its built-in aim assist. It doesn’t matter whether someone plays on Windows, macOS, Linux, PlayStation, or Xbox — the platform makes no difference to gameplay. The decisive difference only appears once a controller comes into play. Controller players with aim assist have a massive advantage because their crosshair practically sticks to the target. That’s no longer natural aiming; it’s a semi–auto-aim system. Therefore, there shouldn’t be a “crossplay on/off” option, but rather “input-based matchmaking.” Mouse and keyboard vs. mouse and keyboard. Controller vs. controller. Simple as that. This would solve the problem fairly without dividing the community — not by platform, but by input method.
