Stuck with a pistol as a secondary is killing the game for me.
Wana help team make a push every now and again, or plant c4 on a tank. Limited to a pistol kills the momentum of the game.
No other class is this limited. Would absolutely love to see alil more freedom of selection in the recon class.
Just run carbine thats what I do.
The only good thing about the Open Weapons system: Recon can run with any main weapon they like.

Ditto. Mostly because I'm terrible with sniper rifles, but I do feel that running a carbine lets me be more useful to my team still.
Sniping is too easy because of the range finder binding issue but it is boring as hell.
Carbine, c3, claymores and sensor ball, although I've been playing domination alot lately as its strangley less chaotic than conquest so using smg's, mainly the mp7.
