people that think like this are the problem with modern gaming, what is the problem with people playing the game how they wish to. for some people who are not that good at FPS titles or simply they just do not have the time to play 10 hours a day everyday to unlock everything in the game they have also paid for.
this happened in 2042 all they did was cap the XP amounts and even that imho is wrong as it should be open to how each person wishes to play the game.

2042 made a massive mistake with bots, the only reason bots were in the game was so matchmaking went smoother because of the larger lobbies.
Forget 2042 or go back to it, this isn't 2042.
They never intended for people to progress vs bots, it was pve players that abused it.
They need to stamp it out early before it gets anything like 2042.
Online progress should stay in online modes.

Seems intended to me when they state this in their own launch blog post.
Battlefield 6’s Multiplayer includes a robust progression system for unlocking loadout hardware and in-game bragging rights. All Multiplayer experiences, as well as Verified Community Experiences in Portal, grant full XP towards this robust progression system, with XP Boosts available throughout various challenges and other opportunities to come.

if adding it to 2042 was a mistake, why would EA put it in this game again?
