WHY BF 6 IS FAILING?

Battlefield 6 REDSEC Feedback & Suggestions

First of all, I want to say Battlefield 6 is an amazing experience. The gunplay, visuals, audio, and overall atmosphere are some of the best the series has had in years. REDSEC has a lot of potential and is already a fun mode, but I think there are several opportunities to make it even more exciting. Some of these ideas could also improve the main multiplayer experience.

Section 1: Gameplay Improvements & New Ideas

1. Faster and More Intuitive Loadout Menu

The loadout and attachment menus feel slow and require too many steps.

Changing weapon attachments before deployment should be quick and effortless. Players should be able to customize their weapons in just a few clicks, save presets, and make last-second adjustments without digging through multiple menus. A more responsive interface would improve the experience not only in REDSEC but across other game modes as well.

2. Push Destruction Further

REDSEC is built around tactical gameplay, but Battlefield has always been at its best when destruction changes the battlefield.

Ideas include:

  • Bridges that can collapse after enough explosives.
  • Destroyable support beams and structural pillars.
  • Buildings that gradually become unstable before collapsing.
  • More environmental destruction that creates new paths or removes existing ones.

3. Improve Building Collapse Physics

Large buildings should feel truly dangerous when they collapse.

Instead of delayed or limited damage, collapsing structures should:

  • Instantly eliminate players trapped inside.
  • Create dangerous falling debris.
  • Produce dust clouds that temporarily reduce visibility.

These moments would create the cinematic gameplay Battlefield is known for.

4. More Interactive Objectives

REDSEC could become much more dynamic if players could trigger large-scale map events through objectives.

Examples:

  • Overload a nuclear power plant.
  • Shut down the city's power grid.
  • Trigger an EMP that temporarily disables electronics.
  • Destroy communication towers.
  • Sabotage fuel depots.
  • Activate floodgates or industrial machinery.

These objectives would make every match feel different.

5. More Interactive Maps

The maps themselves could offer more opportunities beyond combat.

Examples:

  • Nuclear facilities.
  • Airports.
  • Factories.
  • Dams.
  • Shopping malls.
  • Chemical plants.
  • Underground metro systems.
  • Space launch facilities.

Each location could include unique objectives or interactions instead of serving only as scenery.

6. Better Recon Drone

The Recon drone feels too limited.

Its battery drains quickly even though drones are already easy to shoot down.

Suggestions:

  • Increase battery life.
  • Add upgrade options.
  • Improve reconnaissance abilities.
  • Make drones more rewarding to use without becoming overpowered.

7. More "Only in Battlefield" Moments

Battlefield is famous for moments that players never forget.

REDSEC could lean into this by introducing more large-scale events, environmental interactions, and objectives that squads can work together to achieve.

Section 2: Current Complaints & Quality of Life

1. Heavy User Interface

The menus feel heavier than they need to be.

A cleaner, faster UI would make preparing for a match much smoother.

2. Weapon Customization

Attachment customization should be nearly instant before deployment, allowing players to spend more time playing and less time navigating menus.

3. Explosives Feel Underpowered

Explosives, especially C4, don't always feel as impactful as expected.

I would love to see stronger environmental destruction and more satisfying interactions with structures while keeping gameplay balanced.

4. Building Damage Response

Some large structures take too long to react after taking significant damage.

More immediate structural damage would make destruction feel more believable and rewarding.

5. More Rewarding Team Objectives

Instead of relying mostly on artillery or bombing rewards, REDSEC could offer more objective-based rewards.

Ideas include:

  • Temporary electronic warfare that disrupts enemy communications.
  • Recon satellite scans.
  • Special supply drops.
  • Map-wide events unlocked by completing objectives.

These rewards would encourage teamwork while creating memorable gameplay.

Community Feedback I've Seen Repeated

Along with my own suggestions, here are some common requests I've seen from the Battlefield community:

  • A faster, cleaner UI.
  • Easier weapon customization.
  • Better hit registration and network consistency.
  • Improved footstep and directional audio.
  • Better helicopter and vehicle handling.
  • More meaningful destruction.
  • Improved spawn protection.
  • Better performance optimization and fewer stutters.
  • More detailed player statistics.
  • Expanded server browser options.
  • More Portal customization.
  • Continued anti-cheat improvements.

Thank you for taking the time to read this feedback. Battlefield has always stood out because of its large-scale battles, incredible destruction, and unforgettable moments. REDSEC already has a strong foundation, and I believe expanding its destruction, interactivity, and quality-of-life features could make it one of the most memorable experiences in Battlefield 6. Some of these improvements could also benefit the rest of the game, helping Battlefield continue to evolve while staying true to what makes the series unique.

6. Prioritize Gameplay Over Cosmetics

I understand that weapon skins, operator skins, and cosmetic bundles are an important part of supporting the game. However, I hope the development team prioritizes gameplay improvements, performance, and new mechanics just as much—or even more.

Many Battlefield players come back because of the experience, not because of cosmetics. What makes Battlefield memorable is its destruction, dynamic environments, large-scale teamwork, and those unexpected "Only in Battlefield" moments.

I'd rather see development time spent on:

  • Better destruction systems.
  • More interactive maps.
  • New gameplay mechanics.
  • Improved performance and networking.
  • Better UI and quality-of-life improvements.
  • More dynamic objectives and environmental events.

Cosmetics are a nice bonus, but they shouldn't become the main focus. The core gameplay experience is what keeps players coming back long after the excitement of a new skin wears off.

So, maybe atleast EA you guys step up into players shoes so that you understand what we truly like!!!

80k two weekends in a row.

I wonder if the return of Wake Island will push that number higher? I expect a lot of older players are going to jump back in when Wake releases.

    REDSEC is killing BF6...

-Where is 120hz tick rate server ???

-Hit reg and net cod is the biggest prob of BF6.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C_WejiidYbw

-Bad color pallet of maps, high contrast, enemy low visibility

    https://www.reddit.com/r/Battlefield/comments/1uttej2/bf6_beta_alpha_color_palette_comparison/

-Sound.There are still sound issues in Season 4. Not only can you not hear enemies running toward you, but you can’t even hear the sound of tanks.

    -Because of the bloom effect, aiming doesn't do any good. I'm not talking about bullet spread.;
On the crowded battlefield, they're just standing there like dummies, waiting for us to fire brust.
Making ARs so underpowered forces players into very close-quarters combat.
There can't be another game where SMGs and LMGs are better than ARs.

-A meaningless, useless ranking system that amounts to nothing more than a few numbers.
At the very least, matching players with similar ranks would be better. Players who don’t fit the mission’s objective are annoying.
