Please HELP
I bought battlefield 6 on my PC through steam. I later also bought it again on Xbox one through the Xbox store. When I loaded it on Xbox, the game populated with my stats from playing on the PC. I purchased it on there so my daughter and I could play together, but it will not let us play or login to the game at the same time. It always kicks one of us off when the other one logs into the game . How do I fix this? Can I simply unlink the Xbox from my EA Account and create and link a new EA account to that Xbox, Or will that require me to buy the game a third time? Do I need to get a refund for the Xbox purchase of battlefield 6 on the Xbox first before unlinking the Xbox from my Electronic Arts account? I don't know what to do or where to start... I would just like her to be able to play on the Xbox with her own stats and kick one of us off The game when the other logs in. Please help.
You need to make a separate account for the other game purchase she is going to play on. You can't have your same account logged into two different devices even if you purchased it on two different platforms and try to play together. Two accounts for two game licenses. I suggest getting the refund and then purchasing it again on the new account you create.
Make sure to have UPnP enabled in your router settings or manually forward the ports required for the game to make sure there isn't any conflict. This is not a common issue nowadays but it still can happen with two devices on the same network playing in the same server.
Good luck, Microsoft should let you refund and re-purchase they're pretty good about that.
