The abuse of the Phantom Edition DLC vulnerability on PlayStation consoles

Some players have exploited the PS console's Phantom Edition DLC sharing mechanism to obtain exclusive Pro Coin, which are only meant for Phantom Edition owners, by synchronizing their console platform with PC—all without spending a single cent. In theory, after one person purchases the Battlefield Phantom Edition on a PlayStation console, they could share the Phantom Edition-exclusive Pro Tokens with players worldwide to unlock the Premium Pass. This has even spawned an entire industry chain on certain secondhand trading platforms. This is a critical vulnerability related to synchronization between the pc and PlayStation , requiring review and remediation by DICE Studio.

This issue must be fixed. The fact that console currency and PC currency were not shared in Battlefield 2042 is a perfect example. Pro Tokens and Premium Passes obtained by exploiting this vulnerability should be revoked.
