Can't interact with chests containing unique items [PC]

I was thinking possibly needs later unlock but seems it's bugged, makes sense since it doesn't make it clear. feels like bug etc.

What a shame, decent amount of these bugs in the game despite it's... scale? budget? sad. hopefully soon they will release a patch to start solving these bugs.

Same issue. Starting at about the 8 hour mark I stopped being able to open the special armor chests with the three glowing orbs and I can no longer interact with the fen'harel or evanuris alters/statues.  Then it fixed itself after the Siege of Weisshaupt.  That lasted for one level and now I'm back to not being able to interact with the special armor chests or alters/statues. This is a pretty major bug and from what I've seen it's one that A LOT of people have.  I know EA knows about it and yet neither patch has addressed it.  It pretty disappointing to finish a huge battle and find a chest you can't unlock over and over again.  It also is irritating the crap over the completionist in me. Other than that MAJOR issue I've no other performance problems. It's not my computer.  It's your game. I'm waiting for the moment where this issue blocks me from progressing through the story completely. 

Same problem for me also. I also cannot interact with some of the shrines or  gates. This problem also started for me after the first "patch" for the game.  Since the patch, I also cannot complete certain quests etc...

I'm having the same issue. For me I also cannot interact with any Evanuris shrine or timeworn gates. This issue materialized after the first "patch" for the game. My first playthrough was fine besides weird mouse input issues. Since the patch, I cannot complete certain quests because of this and I'm trying to do a 100% run. I did notice that after part 8 like OP said, I was able to grab the unique at the end of the quest. But immediately after, they all became unavailable again. They don't even glow. I can't really play more until this is fixed. 

I'm having the issue, have not been able to open those chests for most of the game, just in the beginning.  Very frustrating.  Actually having issues with many of the prompts, some that have essentially blocked me from finishing quests. 6-month-old gaming pc which is a beast. Game breaking issues should be sorted before release and from what I've seen online this is a very common problem.

IT FIXED ITSELF FOR ME!

Not to spoil to much or hopefully anything I had to beat Part 8/Chapter 8

This is the chapter where you join the wardens and fight one of the gods/archdemons.

AFTER THIS long cutscene you talk with everyone in the lighthouse and gain access to a special part of their skill trees. I then went to do one of their quests with them and one of my old unique boxes was glowing as were all my statues and walls!!
