Sorry to hear that there's been difficulty getting the EA App to update.
Please give these troubleshooting steps a try:
- Open Task Manager and end the EA Background Services task
- Clear the EA App's cache
- Run the EA App as administrator
- Repair the EA App
- Launch the EA App Updater directly (should be located in the same folder as the EA App)
