Here are a few more troubleshooting steps we can try if you haven't already:
- Please open Activity Monitor and force-quit EABackgroundService and EA, along with any EA-related processes you can find.
- Uninstall the EA App and its old installer
- Open the Finder app > Go > Go to folder (Command + Shift + G with an active Finder window)
- Locate the folders below and delete EA-related items and subfolders:
~/Library/Caches
~/Library/Application Support
~/Library/Preferences
~/Library/LaunchAgents
~/Library/Logs
~/Library/Saved Application State
- Empty Trash
- Restart your mac
- Install the EA App with a fresh installer
