bought games off steam but its not in the app?

so i bought nfs heat off steam and then once i downloaded it and ran it it had a error popup saying i should reset my password and restart the game, i did both of that and it didnt work, then another user on the NFS forum suggested i launch it directly from the EA app but the problem is it isnt there?
