EA App stating I don't own a game.

    Ok, so, I was able to chat with EA Support regarding this issue and after a bit of discussion, this is what finally worked for me:

     

    1. Ensure that the game, EA app are closed
    2. Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time to open the Run Window 
    3. Type or copy and paste "%ProgramData%\Electronic Arts\EA Services" without the quotes and spaces into the Run Window bar and press ENTER 
    4. Move the License folder to your desktop (EA Services folder should be empty) 
    5. Start EA app and launch the game

     

    Moving the License folder to the Desktop just recreates it in the directory you moved it from. The game should launch once you do this. If it does launch, feel free to delete the License folder you dragged to the Desktop.
