This error appears during login, when launching a game via a third-party launcher (like Steam or Epic), or when trying to link those launchers to an EA account. To help us investigate and hopefully resolve this for those affected, please share the following information in your reply: Your region/country of residence Whether you are located in or connecting through a country listed under EA’s restricted regions (see: "EA games unavailable in some countries or regions") Are you using a VPN? If so, please disable it completely (make sure no VPN-related processes are running), reboot your device, and try again. Your EA app Error Reporter ID You can generate this from the EA app and post it here in the thread. Over the past week, we’ve seen a small uptick in reports from players encountering a “Service Limitations Apply” error in the EA app on PC and Mac. This error appears during login, when launching a game via a third-party launcher (like Steam or Epic), or when trying to link those launchers to an EA account.

To help us investigate and hopefully resolve this for those affected, please share the following information in your reply:

Your region/country of residence
Whether you are located in or connecting through a country listed under EA’s restricted regions (see: "EA games unavailable in some countries or regions")
Are you using a VPN?
- If so, please disable it completely (make sure no VPN-related processes are running), reboot your device, and try again.
Your EA app Error Reporter ID
- You can generate this from the EA app and post it here in the thread. See [INFO/GUIDE] Index - Troubleshooting the EA app.

Hello EA. I cannot connect to the FC25 Servers. Whenever I try to, I get one of two error codes. 1 There's been an error. "Your request cannot be completed Service limitations apply". It is a white screen background. Or 2 " You cannot connect to the EA servers at this time". Can anyone help? 95% of the time I get the first error code, but at times I will get the second one. Can anyone help. Thanks.

I'm trying to log into EA on my main account and every single time, it won't sent me an authentication code because "Service Limitations Apply". I am not from a country that cant use EA games. I am in Australia. I just wanna play Sims and can't log in at all. Not even on my phone.

I've tried cache clear, reset, run as admin and waiting. NOTHING works.

Please send help.

when I try log into web app on computer it says service limitations apply when sending code to phone. But it does it only on some computers. It works on other computers but not all. How do i fix this?
