New Sims 4 Base Game Items are not showing up in game

I got the new sims 4 base game update on Feb. 8 and I made a house with the new items and everything. I went to go play in the house for the first time since today, and none of the new base game items were there. I don't understand where it could have gone. I uninstalled the game and reinstalled and the update is still not there. There are no updates in the Sims Delivery and there are no updates within EA. How do i get my update back!!!!

    Try moving the following folder to the desktop Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\content.

    Then start the game. This should prompt you to download the SDX again.
