Hi guys, I downloaded Madden 26 and everything a week ago. However, I kept on getting the "Item not owned" message on epic games, when I would launch the game from EA. On epic games, it would say that I still needed to install the game underneath the title. Then if I tried clicking on it to launch from epic games, it would bug out and freeze my computer temporarily, like it was crashing, but I never even got into the game. I spent hours trying different things. What worked for me was going to this website: https://help.ea.com/en/articles/platforms/pc-ea-anticheat/. It is the EA website to install their Javelin Anticheat, and I just redownloaded, I ran it, and then I clicked on the repair button in the window that opened. I let it run until it said "Repair successful". Now, if I go into epic games it still says I need to install the game underneath the title, but when I click on the game, it launches it and I can play it. Its still bugged out saying I need to install it, but at least I can get into the game and play it. I know its downloaded and working correctly because I am also receiving Epic Games Achievements in game. Let me know if this helps you guys out, or if you have any questions.
