I managed to resolve this with the chat advisor. They updated my old inaccessible email with my new one that I have access to.

Steps were:

Navigate to where you raise an issue and I put the topic as linked accounts. Put battlefield 6 in the game and your platform. I just put cant link account in the description. Once you have submitted this scroll down and you will find a link to the advisirs via chat

Once connected I explained the problem. You will need to verify security information for your EA account and your platform (psn/ xbox). Email address, dob, last 4 digits of payment method etc.

Once he had all this he reset the email on my old account. He sent verification link and it's all sorted.

How did you manage to actually speak to someone at EA ? I am finding it impossible

I have the same issue. My old linked EA account timed out on my PSN. Its an old freeserve account and they dont exist anymore. I have no way of accessing the password reset email. I have created a new EA account but cannot link it to my PSN account as the old one is still linked. I have tried raising a ticket on the EA website but nothing gets acknowledge. There is no contact number or email address on EA site. Customer service is appauling. I guess i am cancelling my pre-order of BF6 as i wont be able to play it.

Does anyone know a way of contacting EA ?

Same issue here, I've been ask them to merge the account 2 times already, Today and few years back. They can't do nothing with it, even after giving them screenshots about transaction and proof that I own this account

Yep, I have the same issue on my PS. This is ridiculous 😒
