BATTLEFIELD REDSEC VRam bug report
Battlefield REDSEC: VRAM Bug & FSR Request
To the Development Team,
I am submitting a critical technical report regarding the current state of Battlefield REDSEC on PC:
1. VRAM Over-Allocation Bug (Memory Leak)
- Issue: On 8GB VRAM cards (like RX 580), the VRAM usage remains stable (6.5 GB to 7GB) during the first Battle Royale match.
- Bug: However, upon starting a second consecutive match (without restarting the game), the VRAM allocation immediately exceeds the 8GB limit (reaching 8.5GB+).
- Result: This leads to severe stuttering and instability on the second game session. The VRAM from the first match is not being fully released.
2. Lack of Essential Upscaling (FSR/DLSS)
- Critical Need: The game lacks support for AMD FSR/NVIDIA DLSS.
- Impact: This technology is essential for mid-range cards to maintain stable 60 FPS to 75FPS (especially at 1080P with High Textures and FSR Quality Mode) while keeping VRAM usage under control. Please prioritize the integration of FSR.
Thank you for your immediate attention to these performance-critical issues.
