But creating a new PSN ID also means I will lose all the saved data from all of my other games, correct? And we know how the EA linking works....what EA doesn't understand, and refuses to do, is unlink accounts THAT WE CAN'T GET INTO. How can a multi-million dollar organization make a policy about this and NOT prepare for this exact scenario? No-one can tell me that EA doesn't have the ability to unlink these accounts.

You're using a PSN ID that you did not create on an account that belongs to someone else. This is exactly what we're trying to prevent because it's related to hacking accounts. You need to own both accounts or we cannot help. People that legitimately own the account will be able to answer the verification questions and recover their account.
Yes. You will lose all the progress and content for that PSN ID. This would have been avoided by using a PSN ID you own and not one that came with the console. Accounts are not transferrable. This is not something we can help with. - FSUFAN19815 months agoNew Scout
People don't hype about bf6 getting lost in the sauce but it's EA end of the day. I know few other people in my situation and EA . The fact they made system to have one account per system sounds like they want you to make another account so you buy the games again. Im sorry but this should be illegal for any gaming company to lock you out of your games you payed for over silly link account outdated system. The chat help is useless too waited over 2 hours 99 + whole time
