Linked accounts issue
Like a myriad of others, I have waited hours on end for days on end for a chat session that never starts. Once I give up in the evening, I wake up the next morning to a closed ticket and sometimes an email from an agent. I'm beyond frustrated right now, and I have no idea what to do other than post on this forum. EA truly has the worst customer service in the industry.
I never linked my EA account to my Xbox account because this is the first time I've ever owned an Xbox. I'm trying to link it now so I can start playing the F1 game on the Xbox (I've only ever used my EA account on my PC). I haven't used my EA account in over a year. Unfortunately, EA automatically linked my account to an email with the domain @disabled.ea.com, preventing me from actually linking my account. When I try to use the F1 game on Xbox, it doesn't prompt me to enter login details, but instead just tells me to reset my password. Weird since I never linked it. Even my "linked accounts" page doesn't show that I've linked it. I worked with Microsoft Help and we were able to identify that the issue is on EA's end.
Resetting my password does not fix the issue. Right now, I am 100% prevented from playing any EA game online, which you would think would be a priority fix for a company that relies on revenue from video games... weird, right?
Can I please get some help? I cannot bear to waste my life for another week trying to get customer service from EA. At this point, I am about to simply boycott anything EA because this kind of customer service level is not worth a single dollar, mind you the hundreds if not over $1,000 I've spent in my lifetime for EA products, but I guess that doesn't matter.
One of the largest video game companies in the world should have better customer service. This is unacceptable.
