Also, as a person who quite clearly demonstrated in this infamous thread that I have basically the ideal connection, they did not tell everyone it was their connection. Instead they told me that if I compiled videos showing clear signs of delay they might look into it. Then shortly after shut the thread.
I have the videos on my PC, but do I want to spend however long editing them together to post here so they can likely either be ignored or I will be told it's not "clear enough". I recorded a clip today where i was experiencing match state correction in Squad Battles. The game just jumped ahead and lagged the second a goal I scored crossed the white line. The second. No celebration, no ball hitting the back of the net, just moment of lag, then immediate jump to replay which was stuttering. It's just such a burden on the customer and presumes they have the time, capacity and capability to put together video clips that will pass some unknown level of showing enough. Especially when there's another poster who has videos after videos on this forum showing so, so many of the issues.
The poorly optimised game engine and animations are bad enough. But the issues with connection are something else. Based on what I’m seeing, the issue that matches most closely is a desynchronisation between the game client and EA’s servers, where the server processes game events ahead of what the player sees or inputs — creating a mismatch between actions, animations, and outcomes. This is then compounded by other variables in connection to the server.
Also, streamers, including NickRTFM are also raging about delay, lag, server problems, the general state of the game. Nick has had multiple crashouts this month alone and includes the servers in his litany of complaints. It's like a slow creeping problem and now everyone is being consumed by the problem one-by-one.
