Yes, there are numerous issues with the commentary. The majority of content has been simply copied and pasted for the past three years, which omits many of the new player names that have come up from lower leagues to large clubs around the world. In addition, one of the most irritating aspects of the commentary is the complete lack of awareness by the moderators when analyzing the formations used by the CPU and user clubs during the first twenty minutes of a match. The only formations used by my clubs in Manager Career mode saves comprise four-at-the-back, generally a 4-1-3-2, however, the announcers in every match describe either a 5-3-2 that switches to a 3-5-2 in attack, 3-4-2-1, or occasionally a 4-3-3. Even when commenting on the CPU opponent club, oftentimes the formation description is wrong once a club sacks their initial manager and hires a new one through the Manager Market. It would be incredibly easy for developers to link the commentary to the formation chosen by the user, but in my estimation, because new commentary is slow to progress into the game, many formation descriptions are simply missing from the commentary database, therefore, the game engine randomly selects a formation for the commentators to discuss.
