This im starting to think is game design. Cause the game itself actively cheats you.
Your own players literally jump over passes or run straight through the ball like it’s not even there. A defender with 60 pace somehow catches and outruns a winger with 99 pace. That isn’t gameplay — it’s broken.
Then there are the magic tackles from behind. You win the ball cleanly, the opponent stumbles, and somehow the ball magically ricochets right back to them. Not once. Not twice. Sometimes three times in the same play. At that point it stops feeling like football and starts feeling scripted.
Passing is another disaster. Simple passes go miles off target for no reason. Players drift out of position like they’ve forgotten what sport they’re playing. And the moment you’re winning around the 80th minute, suddenly your entire team is locked down in invisible man-marking so you can’t even pass out of defence. It’s like the game flips a switch and decides the other team needs a goal.
And the physics. Tackles don’t behave like tackles. Collisions make no sense. Players bounce off each other like pinballs.
Defenders refuse to cover the wing properly, while your 95-pace winger suddenly feels slower than every fullback in the game. What’s the point of stats if they clearly don’t matter?
The whole experience just screams manipulated gameplay.
Instead of fixing gameplay, balancing stats, and making football feel like football, the focus seems to be on pushing players toward spending more money.
At this point it doesn’t feel like a football game anymore.
It feels like a frustration engine designed to push microtransactions.
And that greed is exactly what’s ruining the game.
One thing i disagree.I always play season and friendlies .you dont spend money on it.But it happenes with me.EA doesnt do on purpose cox it is happening in friendlies as well.My players refuse to move and AI just dont exist.Opponent players are faster than my ball pass speed. It sucks.
