“You have lost your online connection. Check your home network.” - HELP PLEASE
I have been having an on going issue since the launch of FC 26. Since launch I’ve had the error message saying:
“You have lost your online connection. Check your home network. You will not be able to access FC's online features until you can reconnect to EA Servers. Go to ea.com/unable-to-connect to find out more.” - See attached image below.
Firstly I did the normal troubleshooting, restarted playstation, restarted router, etc. Nothing worked. I contacted my internet service provider and they said everything is working as normal. Every single game works except FC 26. I even reinstalled FC 25 to check and the old game even worked and connected straight away.
I took my PS5 to a friends place to try there and it worked first time and i connected to the servers. It also works when i use my phone hotspot. My account isn’t banned/restricted or anything so it’s a FC 26 specific problem. As my internet works for EVERYTHING except FC 26.
There has been a few times where i’m sat for hours clicking R3 to connect and it randomly connects, or i load up FC 26 as normal it and connects first time. But after a few hours i get the same error message and I’m kicked out again.
I NEED HELP RESOLVING THIS AS I SIMPLY CANNOT PLAY. THIS HAS BEEN ONGOING SINCE THE LAUCNH OF FIFA.
I’ve done every single trouble shooting you could think of, internet ports through the router, checked if anything is restricting, and so has my ISP. I’ve even clear cache from PS5. I’ve done everything. It’s now been over a week since i was last connected (which was for 1 day) and before that was another week of the same error message.
Ive sent now 4 cases the last 4 days through EA HELP explaining this and I’ve had nothing back from them. I’m at a dead end and not sure what to do. I simply just want to play the game. It’s beyond frustrating.
