[Critical] "Game Ownership Disabled" Error after Merge (EA FC 26)
Hi everyone and EA Community Team,
I need urgent assistance regarding a licensing issue after an Account Merge.
I recently contacted EA Help to merge my secondary account into my main account to transfer my games (specifically EA FC 26). I was instructed to wait 24 hours for the content to sync.
It has now been over 24 hours, but I still cannot access the game. I believe the license/entitlement was not successfully transferred to my destination account.
Here is the behavior I am experiencing:
- Anti-Cheat Crash: When I try to launch the game, it immediately crashes with an EA Anti-Cheat "Packer" error (Image 1 attached).
- Ownership Error (The Main Issue): When I attempted to "Repair" the game via the EA App to fix the crash, I received the following error message:
"Game ownership disabled or deleted. We’ve paused the download because you don’t own this title." (Image 2 attached).
My Account Details:

* Platform: PC (EA App)
I have already performed basic troubleshooting (reinstalling Anti-Cheat, clearing cache), but since the EA App explicitly states I "don't own the title," this confirms it is a backend entitlement issue, not a local software problem.
Can a Community Manager please assist in refreshing my account entitlements?
