Critical PC Freeze Issue in EA FC 26 – System Requires Forced Restart
Dear EA Sports Support Team,
I am writing to report a critical issue I am experiencing with EA FC 26 on PC, which causes a complete system freeze and forces a hard restart.
The issue occurs within five minutes or less after launching EA FC 26. The entire system freezes (no response from keyboard or mouse), and I am forced to restart the laptop using the physical power button.
My device specifications are as follows:
Device: Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3
CPU: Intel Core i5 11th Generation
GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3050
Operating System: Windows 10 Pro (clean installation)
To rule out hardware or software issues, I have already attempted all possible troubleshooting steps, including:
Replacing the thermal paste and verifying normal temperatures
Installing the latest NVIDIA RTX 3050 drivers (clean installation)
Fully removing and reinstalling GPU drivers
Updating the BIOS to the latest available version
Performing a clean installation of Windows 10 Pro
Forcing the game to run exclusively on the RTX 3050 (disabling integrated GPU usage)
Despite all these steps, the issue persists only with EA FC 26.
It is also important to note that EA FC 26 was working perfectly on the same device about one month ago, with no freezes or crashes at all. The problem started recently without any hardware changes.
This suggests a potential compatibility issue, recent update-related bug, or optimization problem specific to EA FC 26 on PC.
I would appreciate your assistance in investigating this issue and providing a solution or workaround, as the game is currently unplayable.
