Game closes unexpectedly after latest update

Hi! Since the latest update (yesterday), I’ve been experiencing an issue: when I launch the game and it tries to connect online, the game suddenly closes/crashes without showing any error message. The same thing happens every time I try to start it again.

Could you please tell me what might be causing this, whether there is a solution, and how long we may need to wait for a fix?
