When I start running FC 26 kicks me out of it after a few seconds without a reason and without an error message, knowing that the problem appeared after update number 1.2.1 which was on November 19 and until today the problem, it is unbelievable that 20 days have passed on the problem without looking for the cause of the problem, I bought the game for $99.99!! I'm playing on PC , and I know full well that the problem is not from my device but from the game files itself
After not touching the game for a few days, I try to relaunch the game again but get stuck on the loading screen saying "Starting Javelin Anti-Cheat..." before being greeted with the error message:
"EA Javelin Anticheat encountered an error. Please restart your PC.: C/Program Files/EA/AC/EAAntiCheat.GameService.exe (7) (2)"
I have tried a wide variety of changes over two days, including restarting my pc as well as deleting and reinstalling both the EA app and the Anticheat itself to no avail. Looking at Task Manager during launch, the Anti Cheat appears to be trying to work, using up CPU, before randomly dropping back down to 0% with no changes in the loading process.
I do believe the problem may be that the game files for EAFC 26 are on a different disk (E) to the one mentioned by the error message (C). However, this has never been a problem up until now, with that same disk (E) also having anticheat on. I have installed and repaired the anticheat on the E disk, the installer cannot identify the anticheat on the C file. Could it be possible these are interfering with each other? I have tried just deleting the files from C, but this just makes me reinstall them in the same place upon launch of FC 26.
Again, as mentioned, this is a completely new problem for me that has seemingly happened out of nothing. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
Perform a clean reinstall of your GPU drivers. Use DDU in safe mode to completely remove the NVIDIA drivers and install a known stable WHQL NVIDIA driver. This doesn't have the be the newest one. Reboot and try playing again.
If that doesn't help, repair or reinstall the EA App
Disable MSI Afterburner/RivaTuner
Disable GeForce Experience in game overlay
Disable Discord overlay
Disable anything displaying your FPS or doing any screen recording
You also have a non-standard version of Windows. As a last resort, try using a stable build
