EA, this situation has become absolutely absurd. I am genuinely shocked that months after release Ultimate Team on PC is still in this condition. The level of stutter, delay and instability is something I have never experienced in any modern game, let alone a multimillion-budget AAA title from one of the biggest companies in gaming. Every single day is the same exhausting cycle: launch the game, hope it works, enter Ultimate Team, watch everything break for no reason, restart the game multiple times, restart the PC, pray it works again. Sometimes it magically does, and I get a few hours of smooth gameplay. Then, without changing anything, I open the game again and it collapses into stuttering, lag, broken animations, and menus moving at 5 frames per second. This inconsistency is unbearable. I have done every single fix known to mankind. Reset settings, edited config files, swapped between DirectX 11 and 12, cleared all cache folders, optimized GPU settings, changed resolutions, updated BIOS, chipset, GPU, audio drivers, disabled game overlays, disabled background tasks, changed monitors, tried with and without my external 180Hz monitor, used different cables, tested controller modes, even reformatted parts of the system. None of this matters because the issue is not on my side. This is a problem inside Ultimate Team specifically. I can play Career Mode flawlessly. I can play any other game I own flawlessly. Only Ultimate Team behaves like this: GPU suddenly spikes to 100%, CPU temps jump randomly, input delay appears out of nowhere, stutter gets worse every minute, and menus become unresponsive until the game is restarted. And the worst part is the complete lack of communication. EA refuses to acknowledge the severity of the issue. There are hundreds of reports, all describing the same symptoms, dating from launch until today, and nothing has been done. Patches come and go and the performance issues remain exactly the same or get worse. People with hardware far better than mine are experiencing the same problems. People with weaker hardware experience the same problems. It’s not a user-side issue, it’s not a settings issue, it’s not a driver issue, and it’s not an isolated case. The fact that I can play perfectly one moment and then have the game collapse on the next launch without touching anything proves beyond any doubt that the issue is the game itself. We are in December. No player should have to restart the game five times in a row just to hope that Ultimate Team decides to run normally. No one should pay for Early Access and then spend months trying to get the game to behave like something stable. This is unacceptable, embarrassing and disrespectful to the entire PC community. EA needs to stop ignoring this situation and actually deliver a real fix. Not a temporary workaround, not a small patch that changes nothing. A real solution that makes Ultimate Team stable, consistent and playable every time it is launched. Enough is enough.
