Permanent Ban for Coin Distribution After Account Compromise

I’m posting to request guidance and visibility regarding a permanent ban on my EA account for coin distribution that occurred after my account was compromised.

I did not engage in buying, selling, or transferring coins. The transfer market activity that triggered the ban happened during a period of unauthorized access and is completely inconsistent with my normal gameplay and trading history. This pattern strongly aligns with known account takeover cases, where compromised accounts are used for coin distribution without the owner’s knowledge.

Once I became aware of the issue, I immediately secured my account by changing my password and reviewing security settings. I have always followed EA’s Terms of Service and have no prior violations related to coin distribution or similar activity.

I have already submitted appeals through EA Help and am respectfully requesting that this case receive a proper manual review, including an evaluation of login device data and abnormal transfer market activity during the flagged period.

Any guidance from EA staff or community members on how to proceed in cases involving verified account compromise would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time.

Hey juvo1991 sorry to hear that you are having issues.

We are not able to help with such issues here, we simply cannot discuss your account with you or any aspect of it so with that in mind the best thing to do is open a case with our team and wait for them to finish their investigation.

You can open a case here

All cases are independently reviewed by a member of the team.

HiEA_Darko i have submitted an appeal after they rejected my case which is utterly disappointing considering I’ve been playing fifa since 2001 and spent considerable amounts of money I am really upset that somebody has compromised my account and got me a lifetime ban. Is there anyway you could look into this

Sorry to say juvo1991 but if the team reviewed your appeal and denied it then it means there was evidence to support the ban.

You can appeal again and provide as much info as possible.

    Weird.

Sounds like the exact same thing happened to me. I asked for the exact date/time when this supposedly happend - no answer on my question, just a rejection. The "support" is everything but supportive.

Well we all know EA ain't big in sharing information, but in a case like this where parts of a paid game are taken away, a bit more interest in their customers may be beneficial long term.

This is ridiculous for a company that size. If appeal #3 is again rejected with no further information, I'm gone after well more than 10 years.

  • Same thing happened to my account. They sent me an email on February 1st informing me that my account had been permanently banned, but I had not played for about 4 days. Only thing I paid for other than the game itself was FUT points right when I bought the game about 3-4 weeks ago, and this was done in-game. I've appealed it multiple times requesting documentation and/or a more detailed explanation but they just keep denying the appeal stating that they "actioned my account correctly". Makes no sense.

Then why can't they provide the evidence EA_Darko ? I think if we are spending money and filling their pockets we at least have a right to know, don't you? I wasn't even home the weekend that my account got banned, I think that is evidence enough to figure out that my account was compromised.

Same thing it’s absolutely ridiculous considering I spent over £2000 just on toty alone it’s ridiculous how they can’t see that somebody compromised my account. I had 3 million coins and they were stolen also. Of my #3 appeal doesn’t work I’ll never play the game again.

  • I don't get to play much, only had the game a few weeks and there were only 50k coins on my account. I can't even access UT to see what was even done to my account for them to permanently ban me.
