HUT menu's taking forever for me - I live in South Dakota - Ping a problem also

I live in South Dakota and it seems like my menu's take at least 30 seconds to a minute every single time I do anything (open packs, do sets, load into the auction house etc.) I have 931ms download and about 150 upload speed consistently. I am ethernet corded into my router and I know PlayStation caps a 1GB for both but I have more than that for speed. I know for a fact it is not internet speed problem for me but wanted to see if this can be fixed? Am I too far from a sever? what can I do to fix this?

    Hi there. Connection issues are rarely a speed issue these days. It's more about the quality of the connection. Did this just start happening recently or is it a regular occurrence? If you haven't yet, make sure you do a full power cycle of your equipment with these steps:

    1. Unplug your modem/router for 2 minutes
    2. Hard restart your console by holding down the power button until it turns off
    3. Power it all up and try playing again
